Trainwreck Trio is made up of three music industry madmen with seemingly now two extra, resident performers - Janice the Wreck and Keith Turban. So they now like to think of themselves as Trainwreck Trio and Friends! All Melbourne born and bred, this chaotic quintet have spent much of their last decade touring here & overseas backing many, many talented and not so talented artists.
It is still unclear at which point they decided that the world needed a new generation party band, (probably due to alcohol abuse) but here they are! Not afraid to let their hair down (those of them that still have it), this crew just wanted to have fun and to blow off steam from the rigors of professional touring. Hence Trainwreck Trio was founded in 2008. Traditional (boring) onstage protocol & etiquette go out the window at high speed, but laughter, great music & fun is the order of the night.
These guys will and can play anything - pop, rock, funk, jazz, rock-a-billy, rock n roll, latin, scar, country and reggae (even if the original song wasn't reggae). They also will give any request ago - albeit - they may default to a reggae version if the request is that abstract!
So if your looking for great music, bad jokes & a really fun night, make sure you catch a Trainwreck Trio gig in all its Glory. You will never forget it, thats for sure!!
